Activities

There are activities or groups to suit nearly everyone at St Mary's.

Bookstall

St Mary's Bookstall selling cards is usually open on the 2nd  and 3rd Sundays of the month after the Parish Communion Service. Books and Bible notes can be obtained to order from CLC Bookshops

Library

The Library has a wide range of books covering aspects of the Christian faith, the Bible, spiritual life and prayer. There is also a good selection of children's books. Browse and borrow in the Dilworth Room during coffee after the Parish Communion Service.

Bell Ringers

The bell ringers contribute to the worship at St Mary's by ringing on Sundays, or weddings and on other occasions. There is a strong mixed team but those wishing to learn are always welcome.

St Mary's Choir

is a traditional SATB group of adults affiliated to the

Royal School of Church Music.

Family Praise Singers

These singers lead the musical worship at the Family Praise Service on the First Sunday of each month.

House Groups

Several house groups meet fortnightly or monthly in private homes for study and discussion of the Christian way of life. Some groups are well-established although newcomers are always welcome and new groups can be formed as needed.

Sunday Evening Prayer Group

A small group meeting for informal prayer in church on Sunday evenings. The group is open to all.
